We designed multi-functional Alligators for Ti West’s newest horror film, X.
“After reading through the script, we spent some time with director Ti West to determine the shots required. We realised that one alligator build wouldn’t work for the various shots – so we built multiple components that could be easily attached and detached by the production team on set.”
We worked with Lane Street Studios to design and produce sculptures and signage for the new production facilities in Upper Hutt.
“We produced sculptures based on local film professionals to acknowledge the talent the region has to offer and the role of Lane Street Studios in facilitating projects for them to be a part of. Inside the building we have created sculptural wall pieces inspired by the topography of the Hutt River .“
We worked with Limber to improve and increase their manufacturing capacity.
“At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bart De Vries of Limber urgently needed to improve the speed of manufacture to keep up with the sudden demand in sales he was experiencing. We refined the production process which increased overall productivity and enabled Bart time to focus on sales.”
